About Us

Well Hello - Thanks very much for checking out our Blog. 


We are Jonny and Talia, a young couple who have been living in Toronto and doing the corporate life thing for a number of years. We met in our first year of university at the University of Ottawa. After discovering we had many common interests (i.e. spending much time frequenting the bars in the Byward market in Ottawa as so many first year students do), we soon became a couple, and except for a break after graduating university where we both spent time "growing", the rest is history.

About a year ago we decided to put a stake in the sand and decide on date to follow our dream of taking a trip around the world. We decided that date would be Jan 2012 - So here we are! We have both decided to leave our corporate jobs and stuffy offices we sit in all day to follow this dream. As a bonus another couple has decided to join us on this worldwide tour, Kait (long time best friend to Talia) and her boyfriend J.J will be travelling with us!

For many years friends and family have been telling us that they would love to follow us around to document our antics as a couple. So After years of requests and sometimes demands, we have finally decided to give everyone what they have been asking for. The Jonny and Talia show through this Blog as we recap our year long adventure around the world.
